When should I get tested?

Prior to booking your fit-to-travel Covid swab test, you must check the destination country’s current entry guidelines. Different destinations require your test to have been taken within specific times, so please ensure you reference relevant government websites; check with your travel organiser or the airline itself.

It is your responsibility to advise us of your destination’s regulations and book your test at the right time for your travel.

We cannot advise you on regulations by destination and do not take responsibility for the chosen timing of your test. Our clinic is here to support you to have your COVID-19 swab test safely and ensure the delivery of the COVID-19 fit-to-travel certificate in a timely manner against the information provided by you but are not aware of destination regulations and cannot advise you. You are entirely responsible for choosing the right time for your test. The clinic takes no responsibility if you test too early for travel or if you change your travel plans.

  • Book your appointment online by

    • calling 0330 025 2028 to make an appointment
  • Arrive at the clinic at the time of your appointment. Please note the wearing of face masks is mandatory.
  • You will be checked-in at reception.
  • Your swab clinician will collect you at the time of your appointment and conduct your swab. They will also verify your details to ensure they correspond with your passport.
  • The swab is sent to our UKAS accredited laboratory who will issue a PDF certificate that is emailed to you.
  • We can also provide a supplementary clinic letter at no additional cost where this is needed. This will also be sent as a PDF.

The global pandemic means that every country is looking to ensure the safety of its population. With this in mind, almost all countries require a negative COVID-19 PCR swab test to be presented prior to travel. Anyone without a negative test will not be allowed to travel.

The test needs to be taken with sufficient time for the sample to be processed and the results returned to you. You will need to pick the processing time you require to get the fit-to-fly certificate back in time for you.
